Niedax Group acquires second steel service center

With the acquisition of Bandstahl-Service-Hagen GmbH, the Niedax Group now has another steel service center.

The Niedax Group has further expanded its activities in the steel market and acquired to 100% a second steel service center, Bandstahl-Service-Hagen GmbH (BSH). This ensures the highest possible security of supply for the companies of the Niedax Group.

As a result, we as a group of companies can ensure the supply of one of our most important raw materials and further expand our position as one of the leading manufacturers of cable management systems made of steel,” explains Bruno Reufels, CEO of the Niedax Group.

After Boecker Stahl-Service GmbH, Bandstahl-Service-Hagen GmbH is the second steel service center of the Niedax Group. These two companies give Niedax direct access to national and international procurement markets, making it one of the top 10 steel service centers in Germany (non group affiliated).

Active in the slit strip market for three decades, BSH offers slit strip made of hot wide strip as well as cold-rolled and hot-dip galvanized steel. As a medium-sized company, it has annual sales of more than 175,000 tons.

The existing business and customer relationships of BSH GmbH will continue unchanged.
